It's time to vote! In the end, we received 9 great entries, and we'll be giving away prizes to three of them!

In order to vote for your favorites, please look at all the entries, located here: weasleyfanclub.deviantart.com/…
After you've taken a look and read the fiction entries, please send your votes in a note to me, gracelessnight! Make the subject line something like "12 Days of Weasley Contest Vote." In your note, choose your first, second, and third place choices, including a reason why for each piece!

BAD reasons for voting for a piece are, "He/she's my friend," "It's pretty," "I like it," etc.
GOOD reasons for voting for a piece are, "The coloring really brings out the holiday theme," "I love the way they characterized this Weasley by...", etc.
You CANNOT vote for yourself!

If you do not include a reason for your votes, I can't count them, so please leave a reason for each!

You have two weeks to vote, so that's until February 22, 2012. Happy voting!

Here it is, folks, the last 24 hours to get your entries in! We've got 8 wonderful pieces so far, but I'd love to see many more by the time the deadline passes! So finish up those drawings, put the final edits on those stories, and we'll see you when voting starts in just a few days

Due to popular demand, we're extending the deadline for one more week! That means that the new date to get your entries in is February 7, 2012! I hope to see lots more fantastic entries by then!

Hey everyone! The deadline for this contest is just over two weeks away, and we've only got two entries to the contest can you leave a comment if you're planning on entering? If we don't have enough entries, or at least enough people interested to merit extending the deadline, then I'll probably have to cancel the contest altogether (and I really really really don't want to do that )

How are those entries coming along? I hope all of you were inspired by the holiday season, and are continuing to be inspired throughout January! Remember that the deadline for the contest is the end of this month, January 31st! We've only got one entry so far, but we hope to see lots more!

Greetings, fellow Weasley lovers! I hope you all are having a fantastic holiday season so far, no matter what you celebrate (or don't celebrate!) And, since the season is fast approaching, we here at WeasleyFanClub figured we'd throw a holiday contest to get you all in the spirit!

This year, our theme is...

"On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me..." one big Weasley family! That's right, we've taken the theme of this classic Christmas tune and given it a Weasley twist! For this contest, you'll be taking one of the "days" that follow and creating an art or literature piece inspired from it. Here is the full list of days you can use to create your piece!


ENTRY RULES
- Choose ONE of the previous prompts to base your piece on. It can either be a strict interpretation or a loose one, but the prompt has to be present somehow!
- Along with choosing one of the prompts, make sure your piece is holiday-themed! Whatever that means to you
- Your entry has to be new and made for this contest! No entering old art/literature, even if it fits one of the prompts.
- Your entry must be canon! This means that whatever you create cannot go against events or relationships established in the books.
- Any generation Weasley that exists in the books (or JKR has confirmed), can be included in your piece! Meaning your piece can be about Ron's generation, the next generation kids, or even Arthur and Molly's generation, if you wish!

GENERAL RULES
- You must be a member of WeasleyFanClub to enter! If you're just watching the group and want to enter, go ahead and join! We don't bite, I promise
- Both art and literature entries will be allowed.
- All entries must be submitted by the deadline, which is JANUARY 31st, 2012. That's about a month and a half to get your entries in
- All entries must be submitted to the correct folder, "The 12 Days of Weasley Contest."
- You cannot submit your entry to any other contests.
- You must credit WFC in the artist comments section of your deviation.
- You are allowed to submit ONE art and ONE literature piece.
- No mature content over a PG-13 rating.

DEADLINE
